Borough High Street

Standard

Pen and ink drawing, with coloured markers

Really enjoying the early spring weather. Was down at Borough at the weekend, great for a bit of food and then a slow wander along the river in the sun.

  1. Thanks to Freshly Pressed for bringing me to your blog, I really love your art. Especially love the street scenes, as in this post. It reminds me a little of Edward Hopper’s work. Thanks for sharing your work with others!

  2. I really like the style of your pen & ink work, this one in particular. It reminds me of something from my childhood, but I don’t remember exactly what . . . I feel like it was something animated. Anyway, nice work.

  3. I like the girl wearing faded jean clothes, and I like the perspective on the stop lights. Very elementary question, but really: where and/ or how did you learn how to draw/ paint/ sketch so well? Envious.

  4. I’ve enjoyed wandering through your blog. We lived south of London for two years, and it has been a pleasure to revisit it through your eyes.
I love the buildings the most… I live in western Canada, and all the buildings are too new.
