The Ten Bells

Standard

The Ten Bells, a Victorian pubon the corner of Fournier Street and Commercial Street, Spitalfields, sometimes referred to as a “Jack the Ripper pub”.

Just finished re-reading Alan Moore’s graphic novel From Hell, in which the Ten Bells is visited quite often. So thought I’d re-visit with a sketch. Across the street is Nicholas Hawksmoor’s Christ Church, which also features heavily in From Hell.

  1. Only thing I have to say is, how do you manage to make it look so sunny and bright? 😛 Actually, it’s nice and sunny right now…let me take that back! Nice to see another lovely sketch from you 🙂
